Global Distribution Systems and Online Travel Agencies are important for building brand awareness and increasing bookings. We maximize this opportunity by offering the highest level of seamless connectivity available to all 4 GDS channels and the alternative websites through Pegasus. This allows all rate and inventory changes in the property management system to flow automatically to the GDS systems. Since the conversion to our own system in 2009, we’ve put significant effort into enhancing our content, room types and rate plan displays—an initiative that has led to significant increase in our bookings in the last year. We’ve enhanced our working relationship with the travel agent community by automating our commission payments through Pegasus, which allows for timely, consolidated payments for the TA community.

Additionally we offer seamless connectivity to all the major OTA sites and those connections are managed centrally requiring no additional work from inn personnel. Like all GDS’s systems, rates and availability are managed in the PMS and seamlessly updated into the sites.
