Focus on Performance
Yes, being a Red Roof franchisee has its highs and lows. Like one of the highest RevPARS in our category. Plus some of the lowest initial and ongoing fees.
Paul Patel, Bowling Green,KY
It’s true. We do things a bit differently. We remain focused on one brand, for example. We also have some of the lowest fees in the industry. But those aren’t indicators of our performance—Red Roof® has one of the highest RevPARs in our market, consistently higher occupancy and ADR, and one of the highest customer satisfaction scores among economy hotels.
My Market Metrix numbers have been awesome, my RevPAR index is through the roof, and occupancy is up significantly.
Anish Prakash, Sacramento, CA
According to Smith Travel Research®, Red Roof consistently has one of the highest RevPARs of any brand in the economy market. That’s supported by the fact that we consistently outperform in occupancy and ADR among economy competitors.

Highest Brand Contribution – 64%
Red Roof is our one and only brand. That means we’re entirely focused on promoting that one brand and not trying to crowd your market with other brands. And it’s paid off. Red Roof has strong brand recognition and loyalty. Redroof.com has more than 12 million visitors per year and we book more than 4.9 million stays per year, with 1.72 average nights per stay, and a 64% overall brand contribution.
High Overall Brand Contribution*
*The Brand Contribution is the percentage of room revenue generated for the Properties, the reservations for which were generated by the Red Roof Inn website, the Red Roof call center, group booking, National Sales, Global Distribution System (“GDS”), third party websites and reservations by RediCard members booked directly with the Properties, year ending December 31, 2015. This is calculated by dividing the total room revenue generated by the channels referenced above for the Properties open and operating for at least two years and the entire year ending December 31, 2015 by the total room revenut generated by all occupied rooms at the properties.
Leader in Customer Satisfaction
From 2010–2015, Red Roof earned the highest customer satisfaction score among all competitive economy hotels based on online reviews by Clarabridge. Guests ranked Red Roof’s rooms, service, and overall value higher than other economy brands such as Microtel Inns® and Super 8®. And we are consistently rated among the leaders in guest satisfaction by J.D. Power and Associates®.
